About This Listserv

This Listserv will be used by Inova Fairfax Hospital in an effort to improve communications with the physicians. Physicians will receive department updates and Grand Rounds via this service.

Why should I provide my email?
Your department will be using a Listserv to distribute new policies, guidelines, department specific communications and other information important to the medical community. In addition, there is a master list that allows an Inova Administrator to send information to all physicians in Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Can other list members see my email address?
No, your email address will not be visible to other members of the list. When your department logs into the list, they will only be able to send messages to a list that does not display your email address. You can learn more about our Privacy Policy by clicking here.

Can members reply to each other or send messages to all other members in the list?
No, members cannot reply to each other or send messages to all other members in the list. However, if you have important information that you would like to share with the rest of the members, you can talk to your department and request them to send the information. The decision on the relevance and importance of the information will be made by your department.

What kind of information will be sent out via the Listserv?
Any information regarding meetings, Grand Rounds, new policies, guidelines, and CMEs may be disseminated via the Listserv.

What happens if I do not sign up for an email?
Medical Staffing Services not only uses this service to send you information regarding Grand Rounds, other pertinent information regarding Inova Fairfax Hospital policy changes are among some of the information that you will not be updated on.

Does WebForMDs collect any browser history or sell my data to their partners?
No, WebForMDs does not collect browser history or sell any data to its partners. Unlike other shared listserv services that may monetize the data of list members, WebForMDs has never sold any data belonging to its hospital clients or the providers of its hospital clients since 2001.
